The volume (editore) collects almost 200 photos in 160 pages that tell of the gutted buildings of the former Reggiane Mechanics Workshops, transformed into gigantic ateliers.

The introduction of the book is entrusted to the journalist and former director of the Gazzetta di Reggio Paolo Cagnan, who was the first to turn the attention of the city to those places and those artists.

The experiences and passion with which these works were born are described through the story of Agnese Spinelli; while Pietro Rivasi points out the value of photography with respect to street art, talking about its dissemination and its conservation.

The volume is completed by the critical essay by Enrico Stefanelli, creator and director of PHOTOLUX, the International Biennial Photography and Video Art Festival of Lucca.
