one of the pioneers of the inter rail movement within the European writing scene, explorer and tireless adventurer. Places abandoned and forgotten by a progress that does not care about the rubble it leaves behind, tunnels that cross the underground of cities, military bunkers, exotic countries [the list in fact includes both: distant countries or abandoned factories, for the artist they represent equally fascinating worlds to be explored] or railway depots: every place and every encounter becomes inspiration for his paintings.
With an extremely graphic and minimal style in the sign, Honet transforms the experiences lived and photographed into paintings full of allegories and symbols, capable of summarizing complex experiences and "extraordinary adventures" with a few images (aventuresextraordinaires.fr is in fact the name of its website ).

Explorer and tireless adventurer, he is one of the pioneers of the inter-rail movement within the European writing scenes. Abandoned places, forgotten by progress that does not take care of the ruins it left behind, tunnels crossing cities' underground, military bunkers, railway depots, distant and unknown countries: every place and every meeting become inspiration for his paintings.
With an extremely graphic style and a minimal sign, Honet transforms the experiences he lived and shot in his travels into paintings full of symbols and allegories, able to summarize through a few images, complex experiences and extraordinary adventures.
For Vicolo Folletto Art Factories the French artist created two illustrations inspired by a recent trip to the United States representing the latest evolution of his eclectic journey.
The images, reminiscent of ASCII art
, are combined with an elaborate lettering that becomes a pictogram.
The fascination for the ancient civilizations, for secret sects and for codes, is represented here in an extremely synthetic way, using graphic signs and the almost exclusive use of the black color.
We are therefore witnessing the creation of a new illustrative style that mixes current languages, inspired by the use of computers, with emoticons, graffiti writing and ancient civilizations, such as runes or hieroglyphics, to create a new "Graffiti Standard Code for Illustrations Interchange" .
