Attivo come writer dalla prima metà degli anni ’90, conosce una straordinaria notorietà  internazionale  tra la metà e la fine degli anni 2000, grazie alla sua capacità di reinterpretare lo stile newyorkese in chiave attuale sulle fiancate dei treni italiani, pubblicati sui più importanti blog e riviste di settore. Dopo un periodo lontano dalle scene, King Rusto è tornato a stupire i suoi followers (più di 11k in un anno di attività su Instagram) con la trasposizione su tela e carta delle sue creazioni. I suoi dipinti sono puro lettering, un tributo alla tradizione dei pionieri americani ed all’arte dell’evoluzione della lettera.
 
 
Working as a writer since the first half of the 90s, he knows an extraordinary international fame between the middle and the end of the 2000s. Thanks to his ability in reinterpreting the New York style, in a modern key, on Italian trains’ sides, his work finds place in the most important blogs and magazines. After a period away from writing scene, King Rusto came back to amaze his followers (more than eleven thousand in a single year of activity on Instagram) with the transposition on canvas and paper of his creations. His paintings are pure lettering: a tribute to the tradition of American pioneers and to the evolution of lettering.
